Gemini Live: ‘Now we’re talking’
Shorty Awards (2026) — Bronze Honor, Launch Campaign (Technology)
-
Google Pixel wanted to stand apart from competitors by giving consumers a compelling reason to switch: Gemini Live, its new conversational AI tool.
But as conversational AI emerged, consumers were still unsure what it was, how to use it, or how it could fit into their lives. We needed to capture attention while showing how seamlessly Gemini Live could fit into everyday life—and that conversations with AI don’t have to feel robotic or forced.
-
So how do we make interacting with AI feel more natural and conversational?
We stopped telling people about AI and started showing them. We positioned Gemini Live as the ultimate conversational partner—ready for any shower thought, debate, or embarrassing question—and encouraged consumers to simply talk it out.
We launched a social campaign across paid and organic workstreams, showing how Gemini Live could help in life’s most relatable moments. We partnered with familiar faces, from celebrities to creators, to show just how easy—and natural—it is to start talking with Gemini Live.
